The police have charged a former G-League player, Chance Comanche, and his girlfriend in connection with the disappearance of a 23-year-old medical assistant named Marayna Rodgers in Las Vegas. The charges include kidnapping and murder.
Comanche, 27, was released from the Stockton Kings after his arrest.
Rodgers went missing on Dec. 6, and her remains were found in a desert area near Henderson, Nevada, based on information obtained after the arrest of Comanche and his girlfriend, Sakari Harnden.
The arrest followed Rodgers getting into a car with Harnden during her trip to Las Vegas.
