A former professional basketball player, Chance Comanche, admitted to strangling a medical assistant named Marayna Rodgers to death using an HDMI cord.
The motive behind the murder was a planned encounter for “kinky sex” involving Comanche, his ex-girlfriend Sakari Harnden, and another woman.
Comanche, 27, confessed to assisting Harnden, 19, in carrying out the gruesome murder on December 6, during a period when he was in the vicinity “between team activities,” as revealed in recently released police records from Las Vegas.
It’s worth noting that Comanche had previously played for the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings.
