San Antonio Spurs and Victor Wembanyama put an end to their 18-game losing streak by defeating the short-handed Los Angeles Lakers.

Wembanyama, the French basketball prodigy, showcased his versatile skills by contributing 13 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists to the Spurs’ victory.

Despite the Lakers’ setback, LeBron James, who led his team with 23 points, had nothing but admiration for Wembanyama. James reiterated his earlier sentiments, emphasizing the young talent’s uniqueness and expressing confidence that the Spurs have acquired a valuable asset.

“Nothing has changed in what I’ve already said about him previously. Special talent. They got a good one here,” James said.

This season, Wembanyama has consistently demonstrated his impact on the court, averaging 19 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.9 blocks, and 2.7 assists in just over 30 minutes per game.
