Team USA is gearing up for the Paris 2024 Olympics with a showcase in London, featuring two warmup games at the iconic O2 Arena, USA Basketball announced.
The U.S. squad will take on South Sudan on July 20 and clash with the reigning FIBA World Cup champions, Germany, on July 22.
This marks the team’s first return to London since their triumphant gold medal win at the 2012 Olympics.
Tickets for the games, scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. local/3 p.m. ET, will be available for purchase starting Friday, Dec. 15, at www.usab.com/tickets.
To kick off their Olympic preparations, the USA men will hold their training camp in Las Vegas.
Securing their spot in the 2024 Olympics as one of the top two nations in the FIBA Americas zone at the World Cup by finishing fourth, the American men are eager to compete for their fifth consecutive and 17th overall Olympic gold medal.
