In a clash where Anthony Davis propelled the Los Angeles Lakers to a 107-97 victory over the Houston Rockets, Rockets head coach Ime Udoka talked about the challenges that the star forward presented for his team.

Udoka, who found himself ejected after a verbal exchange with LeBron James, expressed his dissatisfaction with Houston’s lack of physicality when guarding Davis.

“He’s playing in the pocket pretty well, scoring well,” Udoka said about Davis. “But, like I said, I don’t love our physicality on him. We have to gain rebound, it’s something that we got to get better at.

“[Alperen Sengun] does his job. Other guys have to come help, but the one-on-one in the post and some of those actions we want to guard straight up and to kind of get punked by a team that’s not known for physicality or punking people is not a good sign.”
