Jalen Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks encountered a left wrist injury during the Saturday victory against the Washington Wizards. Following the injury, Johnson sat out the remainder of the game and is scheduled for further testing in the upcoming days.

The injury occurred as Johnson stole the ball from Kyle Kuzma and attempted a dunk. During subsequent free throws, he couldn’t use his left wrist/hand, prompting his immediate exit from the game.

Despite the setback, Johnson has been enjoying a breakthrough season, starting in 10 consecutive games for the Hawks. He boasts impressive averages of 14.1 points on 59% shooting from the field, with a 42.5% success rate on three-pointers.

Additionally, he has contributed 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game.
