The Toronto Raptors (6-7) showcased an impressive team effort as Pascal Siakam’s 23 points, complemented by Scottie Barnes and Dennis Schroder’s 17 each, led them to a commanding 142-113 victory over the struggling Detroit Pistons (2-12) on Sunday, extending the Pistons’ losing streak to 11 games.

Barnes, displaying his all-around skills, led Toronto with nine assists, contributing to the Raptors’ franchise-record 44 assists in the game—a remarkable feat as they surpassed their previous record of 40 assists set in 2019.

Despite Stanley Umude’s 19 points and Cade Cunningham’s 18 for the Pistons, Detroit continues to struggle, holding the worst record in the NBA at 2-12 and failing to secure a win since October 28.

Jakob Poeltl’s double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, along with Gary Trent Jr.’s 18 points off the bench, contributed to the Raptors’ dominant performance.

The team set a season-high for points and led by as many as 40, securing their fifth straight win over the Pistons.

In the absence of significant contributions from Detroit’s starters, Cunningham was the lone starter to score more than 10 points, shooting 7 for 17.
