In a stellar display of skill, the 38-year-old LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers (7-6) to a commanding 107-95 victory over the struggling Portland Trail Blazers (3-9) in a crucial NBA In-Season Tournament clash.

Despite an imperfect regular-season record, the Lakers boast an unblemished record in the tournament, winning all three of their games.

Reflecting on the significance of the In-Season Tournament, James remarked, “It’s an incentive for sure early in the season when you’re playing an In-Season Tournament.”

He continued, “So we understand what’s at stake. It’s not saying we’re putting all our eggs in one basket in an in-season tournament, but we know when the games come every Tuesday and Friday, we know what it’s about, we know what’s at stake. It’s been good so far.”
