The Memphis Grizzlies have been granted a disabled player exception valued at $6.3 million due to the season-ending loss of Steven Adams, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania (Twitter link).
Adams will miss the entire 2023/24 season as he underwent surgery to address his right posterior cruciate ligament, with non-operative rehabilitation proving ineffective in resolving the issues in his knee.
