Partizan Belgrade staged an impressive comeback, overcoming a 15-point deficit to secure an 85-84 victory against Fenerbahce Beko at home in EuroLeague action, bringing their record to 3-4.

The Turkish side, in turn, dropped to 5-2.

The game unfolded as a thrilling contest, especially in the closing moments, with Partizan rallying from a 39-54 first-half deficit to level the score at 73 with 6:19 remaining.

The two teams traded buckets and leads when Alen Smailagic capitalized on a defensive lapse by Fener to score, bringing the score to 83-82.

Despite a quick response from Scottie Wilbekin, a defensive miscommunication allowed Danilo Andjusic to hit crucial free throws, securing the final score at 85-82 with 11 seconds on the clock.

A last-ditch effort by Fener saw Tyler Dorsey miss a long-range attempt, sealing the victory for the hosts dramatically.

“It’s an emotional high,” Kaminsky said on his feelings after this big victory. He scored 11 out of his team-high 15 points in the last eight minutes.

“For the way we played in the first half and the way we played in the second half, it was like two completely different teams.

“In the second half, we made all the plays we needed to make, we had a lot of energy and when you play at home in front of these fans you feed off their energy.”
