In a spectacular display, Kevin Durant delivered a season-high performance of 41 points, propelling the Phoenix Suns to a resounding 120-106 victory against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.

The Suns, playing without key backcourt players Devin Booker (calf) and Bradley Beal (back), showcased their depth as Eric Gordon contributed 21 points, Grayson Allen added 14, and Josh Okogie notched 10.

Despite the Detroit Pistons’ Cade Cunningham scoring 26 points, the team suffered its fourth consecutive loss in the game.

Durant, on a mission to bounce back from recent losses, scored 13 points in the first quarter, giving the Suns an early one-point lead.

In the second quarter, Gordon extended the lead to 58-49 at halftime with an 11-point contribution.

Durant continued his dominant performance, adding 18 points in the third quarter, ultimately giving the Suns a comfortable 12-point lead in the fourth quarter. Durant displayed remarkable accuracy, going 12 for 12 at the free-throw line.

Rookie Marcus Sasser scored a season-high 22 points for the Pistons, while Ausar Thompson contributed 14 points, and Killian Hayes added 13.

Jalen Duren of the Pistons was ejected in the fourth quarter after receiving a second flagrant foul.

The victory came as a relief for the Suns, who had endured a three-game losing streak and showcased their ability to excel even in the absence of some of their star players.
