Former NBA star Kenyon Martin’s recent assertion that Kyrie Irving surpasses Luka Doncic as the leading player on the Mavericks has sparked fervent discussions among basketball enthusiasts.
During a recent segment of Run It Back, NBA legend Vince Carter was prompted to share his perspective on the contentious claim.
“Luka is the best player, I think Kyrie Irving is one of the best finishers and gifted scorers in the game, and I think they can complement each other – and I’m going to put this on Luka – if Luka allows it to happen, meaning playing off the ball sometimes,” Carter commented.
“The world is great playing off the ball because, one, you get a live dribble, and two, you can do whatever you want. He can do anything he wants.”
