Gianmarco Pozzecco assumed the coaching role at LDLC ASVEL, succeeding T.J. Parker.

Although his EuroLeague debut against Virtus Bologna ended in a loss, Pozzecco marked his entry into the French Betclic ELITE with a commanding 91-72 victory over SIG Strasbourg.

ASVEL took control in the third quarter, dominating Strasbourg 27-9, securing a formidable 71-48 lead entering the final 10 minutes.

ASVEL’s record in the domestic championship improved to 6-3, while Strasbourg dropped to 3-5.

In Pozzecco’s inaugural triumph, Youssoupha Fall delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 17 points with a flawless 8/8 shooting.

Joffrey Lauvergne neared a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds, and Nando De Colo contributed 13 points.

Noam Yaacov showcased talent with 12 points, and Paris Lee added 11 points along with six assists.

On the Strasbourg side, Phil Booth led with 18 points, Quinton Hooker contributed 17, and Nysier Brooks from Canada added 12.
