DeMar DeRozan, Caruso’s teammate, couldn’t help but sing his praises, describing Caruso’s defensive IQ and instincts as astonishing and akin to unleashing a wild cheetah.

“His IQ defensively, his instincts, it’s amazing to watch. It’s kind of like letting a Cheetah out of the cage and just running wild,” DeRozan said, via K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago. “He makes it look pretty.”
