Former NBA player Matt Barnes, in a recent interview with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson for Bovada Casino, expressed his belief in the burgeoning stardom of Knicks guard Jalen Brunson.
According to Barnes, the Knicks could benefit from the addition of another star player to complement the potential of Brunson and the abilities of Julius Randle.
“I think one more star that can blend in because I feel Jalen Brunson is on his way to being a superstar in this game. I think Julius Randle is a great piece,” he said.
“But I think they need one more big dog. If they can get one more big dog with those other two guys, I think that would be a nice fit.”
Last season Brunson averaged career-high 24 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 35 minutes per game,
