Mike James had a stellar performance, contributing 18 points and a season-high 11 assists, leading AS Monaco to an 82–76 victory on the road against Crvena Zvezda.

This marked Monaco’s first EuroLeague win of the season, while Red Star’s record dropped to 1-2.

Among James’ 11 assists was a crucial play where he passed to Alpha Diallo, who nailed a three-pointer, extending the lead to 72–79 with just 54 seconds left.

The win was further secured by Donatas Motiejunas, who scored in a fast break, bringing the score to 74–81 after Zvezda had cut the margin to five.

“They [Zvezda] are very good at home running and make easy baskets,” James said. “Not turning the ball over helped us a lot.”
