Expressing his joy for the city and its basketball enthusiasts, Jokic highlighted the positive impact the team’s success has had on the local community, especially for the aspiring young players in Sombor.

“I think it’s really good for the city and really good for the people in Sombor,” he said. “They never had that before. Not just that, I think the juniors and cadets are playing I’m going to say the best league that they can play. I think it’s really good for the city and for the kids and whoever to come and watch a good quality basketball.”

Furthermore, Jokic commented on the increasing popularity of KK Joker, noting the growing fan attendance at the team’s games, which has transformed the local arena into a vibrant and enthusiastic gathering place for basketball enthusiasts.

“The people are coming [to games],” Jokic remarked. “When I was [there], I never played in front of a full arena. Of course, that’s maybe two thousand people. But we saw some pictures and the gym is full. I’m really happy to see that. It means a lot to me.”
