However, it’s clarified that Van Gundy will not be actively involved in the day-to-day operations on the Celtics bench as part of the coaching staff.
Van Gundy served as a head coach in the NBA for a total of 11 seasons, dedicating seven years to the New York Knicks and four to the Houston Rockets.
