Last summer, Kemba Walker chose to showcase his skills in Europe by joining Monaco.
The seasoned NBA player inked a deal with the reigning French champions, marking his debut in the EuroLeague after an impressive 12-year stint in the NBA.
“I’m not expecting it to be easy,” Walker said. “I’m a guy who’s had a pretty good NBA career. Coming here I know there’s going to be a huge target on my back.”
Kemba elaborated on the factors that guided his choice to journey across the ocean and commit to Monaco.
“I’ve actually been to Monaco before and I remember how beautiful of a place it was. I always said I would love to come back and I guess God heard me.”
