The offseason was filled with trade rumors, and Tyler Herro found himself at the center of one involving the Portland Trail Blazers. However, the trade never materialized, leaving Herro with the Miami Heat.

When Damian Lillard expressed his desire to be traded to Miami, the Heat offered trade packages that included Herro. However, Portland was uninterested in the young guard. Ultimately, no deal was struck, and Lillard was sent to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Recently, Herro was asked about the Trail Blazers’ disinterest in acquiring him.

“I know my value,” Herro confidently stated. “For the teams that didn’t want me, that’s on you. For the teams that do want me, you’ll see why they wanted me.”

When questioned about the upcoming regular-season matchups against the Trail Blazers, Herro remained unfazed.

“I’m ready to play against the best. Portland isn’t the best, so I’m not worried about them,” Herro responded.
