Union Olimpija Ljubljana added long awaited center to their frontline. They signed young Montenegrian big man Vladimir Golubovic (212 cm, 1986) who played for Vojvodina last year. He had offers form Partizan Belgrad and some Russian clubs but he decided to sign 2-year contract with Olimpija.
He was the best rebounder in NLB (Adriatic) League last season. In 30 minutes per game he averaged 13.3 points and 8.7 rebounds.
Olimpija still has to add starting point guard, another big man and shooting guard. They will announce Golubovic, PG and another C this week probably, while SG will be known in autumn when players will fall off NBA rosters.
