Charlotte Hornets power forward PJ Washington feels confident about the team’s roster this season and beyond (agreed to a 3-year, $48 million contract in late August).

Roderick Boone: “What’s it like knowing now that you’re going to be here long-term at least with LaMelo [Ball] and guys like that for years to come?”
Washington: “It’s going to be great. LaMelo’s obviously one of the best players in the league. We have a bunch of great players here: Gordon [Hayward], Miles [Bridges], and the young guys. So I’m just excited to come in and see everybody. I’m just happy. Like I said, I’m excited for this season, and I’m excited for all our work to show.”
