Regarded as the team leader, Anthony Edwards demonstrated his immense capabilities against Jordan, highlighting his formidable prowess.

Through his remarkable plays, he propelled the United States to yet another victory, maintaining their unblemished record with a commanding 110-62 triumph on Wednesday.

In the next phase, the USA squad is set to face Montenegro and Lithuania. In contrast, Jordan’s path leads them to the Classification Games 17-32, where they aim to secure a chance for Olympic qualification or participation in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Anthony Edwards established his dominance right from the start, amassing 13 points before Jordan could even react.

Throughout the game, the 22-year-old athlete accumulated an impressive total of 22 points, achieved through an 8-of-16 shooting performance, in addition to securing 8 rebounds and delivering 4 assists.

“We just wanted to look at some of the lineups,” said Steve Kerr, USA head coach. “The tricky part with FIBA is that you only have a few weeks to figure out your team as opposed to an NBA season where you have six or seven or eight months.

“We just felt like it was important to have a look at Josh (Hart) with the starting group and Brandon (Ingram) with the next group and see if the combinations fit. I liked what I saw.

“The game wasn’t competitive, but it was a good flow from both groups. We’ll see. We haven’t made any decision moving forward, but we just wanted to look at some things.”
