Brazil approached their initial match in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup against Iran with a focused attitude, maintaining a dominant performance throughout the game to secure a commanding 100-59 victory.

Benefiting from Brazil’s creative guards, Bruno Caboclo scored the team’s first 10 points and showcased his skills with impressive plays. He ended the game with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals in just 20 minutes. Brazil exhibited balance, with five players reaching double digits and all 12 players adding to the scoreline.

“We started with really good energy and execution on defense and offense,” Bruno Caboclo said. “I think that for the first game we did very well. Everybody got on the court and could get some minutes.”
