Asvel Lyon signed Nigerian (born in USA) forward Gabe Muoneke (200 cm, 1978) who will help them on both end of the court in French ProA and Eurocup (former ULEB Cup). Muoneke played reserve role in Tau Ceramica last year but will probably be main part of rotation in France.
Muoneke played in quite some clubs in his career, between them in some “exotic” places like Argentina, Puerto Rico, China and Korea. He’s no stranger in Spanish league though, he already played half a season in 2003 for Caceres. He came to Tau Ceramica from China last season to replace James Singleton. He posted 5.2 ppg and 3.1 rpg in 14 ACB games.
