Bobby Portis is looking forward to the leadership of newly appointed Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin. With the transition from former coach Mike Budenholzer to Griffin, Portis anticipates a renewed emphasis on a player-centric approach for the team’s success.

Currently engaged with Team USA in preparation for the FIBA World Cup, Portis took the opportunity to share his insights on the coaching transition.

Speaking to Sam Yip of HoopsHype, Portis expressed his hope that Griffin would allow the players the freedom to showcase their individual strengths and contribute to the team’s dynamics.

In his own words, Portis stated, “I don’t like to compare the past and the future, but I just hope he lets us be us, and be the player-driven team. We have a lot of guys on our team that’s done this before, so we kind of know what it takes to get to that next level.”
