The NBA has announced the dates for group play of the inaugural 2023 NBA In-Season Tournament. Set to be a prominent feature of the upcoming 2023–24 NBA season, the tournament is expected to bring a new dimension to the league’s dynamics.

With all 30 teams participating, this tournament is a departure from the traditional structure, as it involves regular-season games that directly contribute to the teams’ overall standings. The knockout stage, including the semifinals and finals, will take place at the esteemed T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

A notable aspect of this tournament is the concept of “Tournament Nights,” set to take place every Tuesday and Friday from November 3 to 28. It’s important to note that no games will be played on Election Day, Tuesday, November 7.

The quarterfinals, scheduled for December 4 and 5, will be hosted by the teams with the top two group stage records in each conference. Subsequently, the semifinals are scheduled for December 7, while the championship game is set to take place on December 9.

While quarterfinal and semifinal matches influence regular-season standings, the championship game stands as the pinnacle event of the tournament.
