Luca Vitali will not play at Eurobasket due to a recently sustained knee injury.
After playing cameo roles in Slovenia, two years ago, Vitali was hoping to play more of a role in Berlin next month.
Coach Simone Pianigiani has to cut three more players as the roster stands at 15.
