Toronto Raptors point guard Dennis Schroder opened up about his conversation with head coach Darko Rajakovic that led to signing a two-year, $26 million deal.

“The situation for me coming in and being a leader. What I bring to the national team as well, the German National Team, and he basically said, ‘It’s almost that type of situation.’ I was always looking forward to it, to be in that situation. Knowing Darko from OKC a few years back, I know what he’s about, and it’s just match. So I’m really looking forward to it and I’m excited.”
