Lakers head coach Darvin Ham recently shared his admiration for superstar LeBron James, acknowledging his unparalleled achievements and work ethic.

Ham, who has previously coached the likes of Kobe Bryant and Giannis Antetokounmpo, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with James, who will celebrate his 39th birthday in December.

Speaking on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Ham commended James, stating, “My hat’s off to him. I appreciate him. It’s a humbling experience getting to show up for work and seeing him every day. Bron is special, man. At this age, what he’s doing is unprecedented.”

Ham marveled at James’ dedication to self-care, emphasizing his commitment to nutrition, sleep, and a rigorous routine. He highlighted James’ comprehensive approach to training, recovery, and maintaining peak performance, which sets him apart.

In his 20th season in the NBA, James demonstrated his enduring brilliance, averaging an impressive 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in 35.5 minutes per game.

As James continues to defy expectations and showcase his extraordinary talents, Ham expressed his hope for many more remarkable years to come, acknowledging that if anyone can excel into his 50s, it is LeBron James.
