After four years in Miami, Gabe Vincent became an unrestricted free agent and signed with the Lakers.
The 27-year-old point guard explained his decision to join the Purple and Gold, saying that he wanted to be on a contending team, per Jovan Buha.
In addition, Vincent, who is a California native, wanted to be closer to home and play for an iconic franchise.
Last season Vincent averaged 9.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 25.9 minutes per game for the Heat.
