Patrick Beverley will continue his career in Philadelphia after signing a one-year deal with the 76ers. Former Sixers head coach Doc Rivers who coached the point guard on the Clippers, was happy to see him go to Philly.

According to Beverley, Rivers told him that it would have been a different season for the 76ers if he was on the team last year.

“I love Philadelphia for you. They need you. You will be great with Joel, James… If I had you last season, we would’ve been a different team,” Beverley shared Rivers’ message to him.
