NBA insider Marc Stein recently reported that the 76ers are not including Tyrese Maxey in any trade talks as they view the young point guard as significant part of the team’s future.
The same has been reported by another NBA insider Brian Windhorst. He says that the Sixers might have acquired Damian Lillard if they offered Maxey to the Trail Blazers.
“Of the available pieces that … could be offered for Dame Lillard, I think Maxey is the prime piece,” Windhorst said, via Jackson Frank. “And again, if Philadelphia was making that offer, Dame Lillard might be in Philly right now. But they are not.”
