The Suns formed their own Big 3 by adding Bradley Beal next to Kevin Durant and Devin Booker via a trade from the Wizards.
Former NBA player turned analyst Kendrick Perkins thinks that the addition of Beal makes Phoenix the best team in basketball.
“The Phoenix Suns with this Big 3 should be the favorite of coming out of the West and winning next year’s title,” Perkins said on ESPN. “Now, I don’t know what’s gonna happen throughout the course of the offseason and I know we just getting started, but at the end of the day currently constructed this is the best team in basketball.
“When you have this much offensive firepower, it’s going to be hard to beat this team in seven-game series come postseason time. The great thing about it is that they get to jell from training camp.”
