Ben Sullivan, Aaron Miles and Mike Mosser – three assistants of Joe Mazzulla this season in the Boston Celtics – are expected to shift and join Ime Udoka’s coaching staff in the Houston Rockets, sources told Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.

The three assistants are the latest to break away from Mazzulla’s coaching structure. Damon Stoudamire notably left the C’s staff last March this season to leap to the collegiate field and to call the shots for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Alongside Mazzulla, the trio served as assistant coaches of Udoka last season for the Celtics. When Udoka was suspended after violating team rules in relation to his improper consensual relationship with a team staffer, they remained in Boston with Mazzulla taking the helm eventually.

After taking a one-year off, Udoka was tapped by the Rockets last April to be their new leader in the sidelines to replace Stephen Silas. Houston is in serious pursuit to contend for next year after three-straight years of rebuilding.
