Robert Williams III was “throwing up” during Game 7 of the Boston Celtics-Miami Heat matchup on Monday, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Per Charania, the big man has been dealing with stomach virus which has been stinging him until today.

“Robert Williams was throwing up during the game,” Charania reported. “He only played 14 minutes last night. He was coming in and coming out of the game.

“When he came out, he was throwing up. He was dealing with a stomach virus, a stomach bug that he played through. He was sick yesterday, he was sick going into today.”

Williams III only logged 14 minutes of play, but he was productive with eight points and six boards in 4-of-5 shooting.

Though the C’s got plenty of excuses to show including Jayson Tatum’s ankle sprain, the club appears convinced that they fought until the end and has fully processed the disappointing loss to them.
