The Nuggets took a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals after defeating the Lakers twice in Denver. Coach Michael Malone said postgame that even though his team won the first two game, the media is talking about the Lakers.

Jamal Murray, who was instrumental in Nuggets’ Game 2 win with 23 of his 37 points in the four quarter, said that his team is used to that.

“We’re the Denver Nuggets. We’re used to that. Even when we win, they talk about the other team… It just fuels us a little more. And it’ll be sweeter when we win the ‘Chip,'” Murray said postgame, via ClutchPoints.

Nikola Jokic shared a similar sentiment, saying that Denver is used to that and he does not pay attention to it.
