Nuggets head coach Michael Malone made a comment recently about how everybody is talking about the Lakers and not his team amid the Western Conference Finals.

The comment was brought up to Nikola Jokic after Denver defeated the Lakers in Game 2 of the series. He replied by saying that it is nothing new for his team and has been ongoing for several years now.

“Since we made playoffs it’s like that. It’s nothing new for us,” Jokic said. “To be honest I like it. We don’t care. Whatever. If you remember, even in the bubble when we beat Utah, they were talking how they blew the lead, when we beat the Clippers – how they blew the lead. Nobody talked how we won the game. So it’s normal for us. I don’t, to be honest, pay attention at all.”
