The Celtics are dangerously close to elimination after losing Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the 76ers.
Boston, led by rookie coach Joe Mazzulla, now trails the series 3-2. Marcus Smart stood up to defense of the coach by saying that the players have full faith in him.
“We still believe in our coach. We believe in Joe to the fullest,” Smart said, via Steve Bulpett. “We haven’t lost faith in him and we won’t. He has a game plan; it’s on us to go out and execute it. We’re the ones out there playing…”
