LeBron James has a long history between him and the Warriors. While playing for the Cavaliers he faced Golden State in NBA Finals for four straight years.

Back then the Dubs were playing at Oracle Arena in Oakland and now their home court is Chase Center in San Francisco. James was asked about the experience of playing a playoff game in Chase Center after Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals in which the Lakers defeated the Warriors.

“It is always great to win in postseason no matter where you are, no matter who you’re playing because it’s just very difficult to win in the postseason,” the superstar said.

“Like you said, I got a lot of history in Oracle and a lot of battles that are in that arena over the years. So it’s definitely a different feeling walking here into a postseason hame being in Chase arena now like you said. But that Warriors and that GS and those colors that hasn’t changed. So my focus and my respect for them hasn’t changed as well.

“It’s just an honor to be able to play this game at a high level, play with other great players and then also look on the other side and see other great players. And to be a part of something that’s historic. Something that will last a lot longer than we are today. That’s pretty cool.”
