Devin Booker scored game-high 47 points for the Suns in series-closing Game 5 win against the Clippers in Phoenix (136-130).

The 26-year-old shooting guard scored 25 of those points in the third quarter alone. Kevin Durant was asked after the game about Booker’s third quarter performance.

“It was spiritual,” the two-time NBA champion said. “I don’t show it, I don’t scream at games as I got older but when he hit that three at the top of the key, I felt the energy and I know everybody in that crowd felt it.

“We feed off of his aggression, not just us on the team, but Suns fans watching TV, Suns fans in the arena. His presence just means a lot to us. That was incredible to see and to be a part of.”
