The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies 128-112 on Sunday in the opening game of their Western Conference playoff series. Rui Hachimura had a career-best playoff-scoring performance with 29 points for the Lakers.
After the game, the Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane (22 points) talked about Hachimura’s big Game 1 performance: “It was probably the best game he’s had in his career. It’s a 7 game series, let’s see if he can do it again on Wednesday.”
