The Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown (29 points and 12 rebounds) spoke after the Celtics’ 112-99 victory over the Atlanta Hawks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference first-round.

“We expect to get their best shot,” he said, via ESPN. “We let them get a little more comfortable in the second half, so I expect the next game for them to be a little more prepared. So we’ve got to be a little more prepared as well.”

Brown said the cut on his hand reopened during the game and ‘burst open,’ causing him to leave the game so it could be re-wrapped. The Celtics star said they will keep an eye on it and check on it over the next few days.
