Orlando Magic’s Jonathan Isaac is expected to be ready at the start of the 2023-2024 season, via Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel. The big man confirmed it during the team’s exit interview on Monday.

Isaac made his much awaited return in the NBA this 2022-23 last Jan. 23 after missing two-straight seasons due to his lengthy ACL recovery in his left knee. As such, his comeback was halted when he had to undergo season-ending surgery to address his torn left adductor muscle injury in Mar. 3.

“Praying this is the last one and I can kind of not look back and move forward with my career,” Isaac said of his adductor recovery that will run through summer.

Isaac will close out his season with a season average of 5 points, 4 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 11.3 minutes per contests. He managed to log 11 games of appearance for Orlando.

With the Magic set for a potential season of emergence next year, Isaac is also hopeful that his offseason recovery and rehabilitation process will hand great results that can help him to finally be available for the organization.

“This is really going to be the first summer I have to fully work,” Isaac said. “Every other summer I’ve been rehabbing trying to get back on to the court. So I’ll be hopefully in the next few weeks be a full go. And doing everything I need to do to have a healthy next season.”
