Christian Wood is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The 27-year-old forward, who joined the Mavericks last summer via trade from the Rockets, is coming off the bench in most games.

Mavs’ owner Mark Cuban was asked about the team’s plans for Wood, but refused to comment. “I’m not going to go through individual players,” Cuban said, via Tim MacMahon.

Interestingly, he did not hesitate to say that re-signing Kyrie Irving is the top priority for Dallas this summer.

This season Wood is averaging 16.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 26 minutes per game. He makes $13 million per year.
