The Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell has shown his full support to fellow teammate Evan Mobley to win Defensive Player of the Year.

“He should be the Defensive Player of the Year,” Mitchell said. “I’ve played with a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, so I know what it looks like and I’m seeing it with him, for sure.”

This season, Mobley leads the league in defensive win shares (4.6), and he has a defensive box plus/minus of 1.6. He is averaging 1.5 blocks and 0.8 steals per game.
