Famous Turkish coach Ergin Ataman, who recently came back to the helm of Efes Pilsen, spent last couple of days in Belgrade, negotiating over possible arrival of Red Star's captain Tadija Dragicevic to Istanbul. However, he came back to Turkey empty handed, since the red&whites demanded too much for their best player.
"We are very interested in Dragicevic, but 700.000 euros for compensation is really too high. If Red Star puts the price down maybe we will negotiate again", Ataman said.
Dragicevic's contract with Red Star expires in June 2010.
