Houston Rockets head coach Stephen Silas is extremely happy with rookie Tari Eason’s progression this season (averaging 9.3 PPG/5.9 RPG/1.0 APG/1.1 SPG/46.2% FG/35.8% 3-PT/73.9% FT while not missing one game all season).
(via Houston Roundball Review):
“Tari just makes plays. He just makes plays. He’ll get a loose ball. He’ll make a three every once in a while. He’ll crash and get an offensive rebound. He’ll get a steal that nobody thought he would get. He makes a mistake every once in a while, but sometimes his mistakes are just like, ‘I’m in the wrong spot and I ended up with a steal.’ His progress this season has been really, really steady I’d say. He’s one of the guys for the most part you can kinda count on as far as being consistent on a nightly basis.”
