American guard Jordan Farmar has signed a deal with 2014 Euroleague champions Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, the club have announced.

The club announced the news on their Twitter feed earlier today as Farmar joins Taylor RochestieTrevor Mbakwe, Dagan Yivzory and the returning Yogev Ohayon on this season’s roster.

Farmar spent last season at Turkish side Darussafaka Dogus and before that spent two years in Los Angeles, playing for both the Lakers and Clippers.

The 28-year-old, two-time NBA champion will be heading into his second spell with the Israeli giants after he played here in 2011. Farmar has also spent a year at Anadolu Efes.

In Farmar’s eight-year NBA career, he averaged 7.7 points and 2.9 assists, while in his two seasons at Euroleague level, he has averaged 13.8 points overall.
