The Warriors have converted Anthony Lamb’s contract from a two-way to a guaranteed deal, making him playoff eligible.

According to Golden State’s head coach Steve Kerr, the decision to convert the contract was based on the needs of the team.

“We definitely needed another wing with size to guard multiple spots,” Kerr said, per Kerith Burke. “I’d love to have Ty Jerome, too, but we don’t have enough spots. We could only pick one. So we chose Lamb based on a positional need but both guys really deserved to be on the roster.”

This season Lamb is averaging 7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 20.1 minutes per game.
